Network settings not visible in GUI

Hey guys,

I have a couple of Raspberry Pi’s like 3B and 4. I always used to install Kali without any issues. Lately, I noticed that the network settings is not visible via the GUI. Yes, I do have IP connectivity, and everything works well. I use Xfce and the xrdp install package. Right now I use the newest Kali roll.

Is there a reason why the network settings are not available/visible? GUI apps have some issues, like Wireshark. It doesn’t see the network adapter and thus not working.

See the picture below.

Any ideas/suggestions are welcome.

I do have the same WiFi problems, and after a few reboots it does not connect to any WiFi, from cli or GUI
