New to pentesting. Where should I start?

Hi all!
I’m new to Kali and pentesting in general. Just curious on where you guys think I should start.
I was thinking about something regarding Wifi/Bluetooth jamming/cracking, but it seems like my BT on my ThinkPad T14 isn’t compatible with Debian, and I’m having difficulties jamming 5Ghz WiFi for some reason, leaving me knowing that I understand NOTHING I’m doing here in Kali.
Any suggestions?

Learn the basics first. I hope you are familiar with linux. After that do some rooms in tryhackme/hackthebox. They have different pathways you can choose from like SOC,red team etc. If you can afford it, then i recommend you to do an offsec course (PEN200)
