Terminal is opening outside of WSL kali

What have you tried: I tried reinstalling the vm on wsl not sure what else I could attempt

What is the error: When I open a terminal in wsl kex the terminal opens in the on the windows taskbar not in the kex window so when I am in full screen I cannot see the terminal window.

What device is this on: Windows laptop running on WSL

can you show a screenshot? I can’t reproduce that here. How are you opening the terminal?

I wont let me post a screenshot for some reason but I am right clicking the desktop and and clicking a new terminal then it spawn a q terminal outside the wsl vm on the windows desktop called qterminal
