Hi
After not been able to boot I started to worry that the Raspberry was somehow damaged. I then bought an 8gb micro SD card with Kali Linux pre-installed and it started to boot up. It got to this line:

[3.714308] random: nonblocking pool is initiated

and then it stopped. I left it for over 10 minutes, but it hasn't moved any further down the screen.

After a week of testing I've come to the conclusion that the SD card and Micro SD card (I have a B & B+) weren't formatted properly before putting the Kali Linux image on the card.

One other thing, when ever I downloaded a copy of Kali Linux from the internet the check-sums didn't match up after I started to use Win32 Disk Imager. I've downloaded several different copies of this software, but get the same result.

Has this happened to anyone else, perhaps you can tell me what to do next.

P.S. Please keep it simple because at 70 its harder for me to get a hold on things these days.

Thanks a lot.

Mikey.
