Hello everyone, I have updated the kernel to sync with the latest upstream changes, enjoy:

I'm the one that maintains OPO. I might get back to it and deliver a new version. We'll see.
Thanks for the feedback. :)
I just ported the kernel, the apps and how they perform are the generic ones that come by default, so I can't fix that... but I'm glad you found a workaround.
There cannot be a hard-brick, only soft-brick (boot-loop) which can be solved easily but dirty-flashing the rom again. I will let you know when I'm finished.
I will do that. But I don't have the device, so you'll have to test the kernel yourself. I do have experience with porting and am porting OPO and OPX variations of the kernels.
Kali 2017.1 supports this card, I would imagine that NetHunter too.
It looks like Flounder is indeed supported:

Sure, which ROM do you use?
Taking requests. Will do 1 kernel at a time. Only popular phones. Check if there are LineageOS sources for it too (or at least a clean official source).
There's no modified kernel for this device. However, you can start by porting it yourself. It's easy, just follow the official guide.
Here's the source code for the kernel if you're planning on...
1) Nothing unless you start running the apps just like other apps.
2) Of course :) It's not a different ROM, it's just a set of tools with a rootfs (if you chose to get one) that will make it that...
Enjoy :) You might want to get the full rootfs through the app as well. Been thinking if I should create one file that has that too but it'd take too much storage
Don't flash the third, it's irrelevant (old version, very outdated) and may cause problems. Just flash ROM (first file), then my update (second file) and that's it
Ported the latest LineageOS to work with NetHunter if anyone interested:

Nah, it won't work at all. You can, however, port it yourself.
Notice how you downloaded the wrong image. It says Lollipop in it, while the kernel you're using is Marshmallow. That's why you have a boot loop.
In case you still into doing it, I haven't been in here for quite few months...

I hope you figured that out...
Yeah, read the thread... that link the OP post is really useful for this.
NH is not a different OS. It's just a set of tools that gets flashed on top your current ROM. The official guides make it sounds like it's a whole new ROM but that's not a must to do. All you need is...
Just flash over OpenGapps.
No it's not supposed to happen. The guide is really straightforward though, I don't know how we can help you further...
1) That is correct if you're about to switch ROMs. Sometimes the root process requires you to change ROMs, making it impossible to get OTAs updated due to "not being original". That is device...
Have you modified the kernel to meet all the Kali NetHunter requirements and then compiled it? If you have the zImage file ready you can just go ahead and use build.py to build your own .zip...
Good to know it worked for you.
Only if it doesn't contain kernel files.
I just figured out that the kernel source code is the same (they won't release the ROM code. Never will). So it's okay to flash the ones I posted.
Just flash over the installer, the kernel zip has kernel only inside. The installer will flash Busybox and SuperSU as well, so don't worry about this. You will, however, will need to flash over the...
Use my builds:

Just make sure you have TWRP, and just flash them over your CM13.
Note that you're trying to build for CM, not COS 13 (your ROM), they're both different ROMs. As far as I know COS 13 hasn't release their code base yet. If you want to use Marshmallow regardless,...
NetHunter isn't a ROM, so you just flash over my files over your ROM and you should be fine. Note that I haven't updated it for over a month - don't have much time for this anymore, but it should...
There you go:

Mine doesn't support F2FS, yet. You should try out JCs build for this. :)
I will be updating all my builds next week, have some tests to do @ University.
That sounds very unfortunate :( I hope you got a new device now!
Give us the link to the NetHunter installer you used. It's just a string that needs to be changed there.
You could test out my version of the kernel and NetHunter. I always keep it up to date, although you will have to use the latest CyanogenMod 13 nightly in order to use it.
RFCOMM should be supported. I have enabled this on my kernels.
Meh, that specific adapter should work even without OTG-Y cable... I use it with a standard otg cable. Try that and tell us how it goes.
What do you mean by WiFi not working? I need more info. What exactly doesn't work? WiFi connection in general or external adapters? If so, which one? Onyx lacks OTG-Y support so there will be some...
This error is safe to ignore.
No. If you need to update your packages you just use apt-get update && upgrade.
Here's a new link:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=50949
It has 2 variations. I've ported OxygenOS as well, so you could just use that.
No, sorry, but:
I think jcaddounu ported it, here's a message of the IRC chatlog:
02:42 <jcadduono> i require someone crazy enough to test nethunter on the shield tablet &/ shield tablet k1
...
This is known...
Well, it's basically... you'll be modifying some of the code of the kernel source code in order to get it working. There are 3 (+1) essential patches that are mandatory in order to get it working...
What ROM do you use on that one? CyanogenMod or just stock images?
That adapter requires additional power, so it is cable problem, as you need y-cable in order to use it.
It looks like the same cable to me, so it should work.
Make sure you have V-TX enabled.
That's how you whitelist it.....
